Stunning silver celtic knot triangular pendant set with an oval Whitby Jet gemstone in the centre.
The silver Whitby Jet pendant measures 47mm x 22mm.
Comes complete with a silver fine curb chain.
Presented boxed.
Whitby Jet is only found along a seven and a half mile stretch of the North Yorkshire coastline centered around Whitby. Whitby Jet was one of the earliest gemstones used to create items of jewellery. The wearing of jewellery was often a display of wealth or used to bestow some 'magical" protection upon the wearer. Because of the exclusivity of many of the gemstone great skill in manufacture and care in design was invested in the items.
